Our clients range in size from "solo” Physicians to large, multi-Provider, multi-location organizations. They use our “system” - Simplicity+ - either themselves (our software installed in their offices) or as users of the complete BILLING/COLLECTION services that we offer. The single thread that connects each of our users to us – is a well-designed Practice Management System that is ever growing and contains many FEATURES and CAPABILITIES not found in other systems – regardless of cost – coupled with a level of support after the sale that allow us to rank second to no one in this arena. Yet, Simplicity+ remains easy-to-use (and understand) and is – affordable!

This solution calls for Simplicity+ to be purchased (via a lifetime “use license”) and installed on computer equipment - generally provided by and maintained by our staff. This approach is ideal for those Practices, small or large, who prefer total internal control and want to do everything themselves – and pay a reasonable annual support fee to keep the software up-to-date and to have 24/7 access to our Customer Service (software and hardware) support teams.
An alternative to the above would be the use of Simplicity+ on a LEASE per workstation basis – sometimes known as an ASP (Application Service Provider) and here, we charge so much per workstation per month – with a 12 Month minimum commitment and a nominal ($2,000.00) one-time account set-up and staff training fee. The advantage to this approach is 3 fold: 1.) There is NO CAPITOL INVESTMENT required and 2.) The computer hardware required in the office is minimal – and, the Simplicity+ system is “accessed” through computer equipment (often furnished by us) via high speed data communication capabilities and the INTERNET and 3.) The Simplicity+ software system is ALWAYS up-to-date.
One of many things that make MICRO SYSTEMS – St. Louis and our Simplicity+ “system” SPECIAL is the simple fact that WE USE IT OURSELVES – everyday in meeting the needs of those Practices that have chosen to focus their attention on Patient care and Practice growth and OUT-SOURCE the critical billing and collection tasks to us.
In this arena, we offer a range of services that vary from “doing everything for a Practice” to handling only the “back-end” or collections/accounts receivable management side of the business. As stated, this is an ideal solution for those Practices that prefer to focus on Patient care and leave the critical tasks associated with billing and collections to professionals that do it on - a highly personalized, day-in-day-out basis.
Our fee structure – in the BILLING SERVICES setting – is negotiable but generally will range from a low of 5.5% to the 7% arena of what is collected and the actual fees are determined by the services to be provided, the anticipated volume of activity and Practice specialty. In addition, there is a one-time “account setup” fee of $500.00 – which covers the cost of setting up the new Practice and staff training as necessary. NOTE: we place no time limits on “initial staff training”.
